This deck of cards includes 52 card designs, including a Joker design as well as a design for the back. All Designs can be seen below.
To create these cards, I first had to conceptualize what figures I wanted to use.
I knew I wanted to use flowers in place of the suits. With that I decided creating a male and female gardener for each suit could serve as a king and queen. For the jacks I created 4 jackrabbits. For all face cards I included the flower for that suit to balance out the design. Lastly, I created a garden gnome to serve as the jokers.
After I decided what direction to go in I started creating the illustrations. After my illustrations were complete, I scanned them into the computer and photoshopped each illustration and compiled each card together in Illustrator.
To finalize the cards, I arranged them in an InDesign document.
